Otras \u00e1reas de inversi\u00f3n verde incluyen veh\u00edculos\nel\u00e9ctricos, gesti\u00f3n del agua y aguas residuales e infraestructura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La regi\u00f3n de Asia oriental y el Pac\u00edfico, que\nabarca pa\u00edses como China, Indonesia y Filipinas, probablemente atraer\u00e1 la mayor\ncantidad de capital verde, y le seguir\u00e1n Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, pero con\nun gran margen de diferencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLas medidas para limitar con \u00e9xito el\ncalentamiento global dependen de las ciudades. M\u00e1s de la mitad de la poblaci\u00f3n\nmundial vive en \u00e1reas urbanas y esta proporci\u00f3n seguir\u00e1 al alza durante los\npr\u00f3ximos 30 a\u00f1os. Las ciudades consumen gran parte de la energ\u00eda del mundo y\nproducen m\u00e1s del 70 por ciento de las emisiones de carbono a nivel mundial\u201d, de\nacuerdo con el informe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los gobiernos nacionales muestran divergencias\ny titubean respecto a sus compromisos para enfrentar el cambio clim\u00e1tico, aun\ncuando cient\u00edficos advierten que el mundo debe invertir US$2,4 billones en\nenerg\u00eda limpia por a\u00f1o hasta el 2035 y reducir la energ\u00eda de carb\u00f3n a un nivel\nm\u00ednimo de aqu\u00ed al 2050 para evitar da\u00f1os catastr\u00f3ficos.
